The 1724 Wedding Penny Rug is a reproduction of a wool appliqué bed rug made in 1724 as a wedding gift. The flowers and horses that cover this design were probably favorites of the bride and groom. Hand made using fulled wool felt; hand embroidered. Also available in wool and hand dyed wool. Finished penny rug is 15” x 24 ”. This charming penny rug will be a very sweet addition to your home, or a lovely wedding or anniversary present.
