CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS

Penny Rug and Miniature Punchneedle Embroidery classes and workshops are available for shops and needlwork groups. Learn how to make a wool appliqué penny rug or a miniature punchneedle embroidery piece. The participants may select their project in advance. Classs and workshops can range in time from 2 to 6 hours on one or two days.

Janet Wagner is a Certified Punchneedle Instructor and has received awards for her penny rug and miniature punchneedle designs. She has been designing needlework for 30 years…for needlepoint, crewel, penny rugs, and miniature punchneedle embroidery. She specializes in historic reproduction penny rugs, miniature punchneedle, and miniature hooked rugs. Her designs are reproductions and adaptations of historic textile pieces. Her work has been featured in "Early American Life Magazine".
